Hello All!

I've made the pages, except for the portfolio. However, you can refer to the premades section to view the latest samples of my work for now.

Everything is now organized more like a site, so hopefully it's easier to navigate. If you encounter any problems, please let me know!

Both the free premades have been claimed. I will be charging for everything else from now on.

If you're looking for my personal journal, I make those posts friends-only. Comment here and add me if you'd like access to them.

About Plaid Shorts
Plaid Shorts Designs was started sometime back in 2006. Up until Summer 2007, Plaid Shorts was designing for fansites and personal sites on and off. Plaid Shorts also sold some Photoshop resources, such as brushes and textures, available for purchase. After Summer finished in August 2007, Plaid Shorts went on a long hiatus and stopped accepting orders, since I became extremely busy with school. The site was done for good. Unexpectedly, I had the urge to start up the site again when the summer holidays commenced in July 2008. I completely re-did the site for a fresh start and was actively designing. Once again, after summer had ended, I lost time to keep the site. However, when summer 2009 rolled around, I once again had the urge to design. This time, I didn't bother creating a full-blown site, since I knew I'd probably lose time again. I'm now designing and accepting orders from my livejournal.

The Designer
My name is Sam, I'm a 17 year-old female from Canada. I've been designing ever since I started my first fansite back in 2004, at age 12. I didn't start elaborately designing for other people until 2006. I have designed for hundreds of fansites and intend to continue doing so for as long as I can.

I enjoy music, theatre, and films. I like reading too, if I'm in the mood. One of my guilty pleasures is Xbox 360.

Rules

Before placing an order, make sure you read these rules. If you are in violation of any of these terms, you will not receive your order or be permitted to order again.

· Do not claim my work as your own.
· Do not edit anything on the layout without my permission.
· A link back is required.
· Your site cannot contain any sort of illegal content.
· Only order if you have the necessary funds.
· Payments via paypal only.
· At the top of the email you send me, put "I don't like spam".
· All payments must be made in US Dollars.
· Please supply me with HQ images.
· If you choose to cancel after I've already finished your order, the first half of your payment will not be refunded.

This is the typical process I follow after accepting an order.

1. I email you to confirm your order and clarify any details.
2. You send the first half of the payment.
3. I complete the order.
4. I send you a watermarked preview of the order.
5. You send the second half of the payment.
6. I send you the completed order.

Designing Again

Greetings boys and girls!

As you can see, I've slightly refurbished my LJ. It's been over a year since I've posted here. This was once my personal journal, but now I'm going to use it for designing as well. Personal posts will be friend-locked, so just comment and add me if you wish to read them. I know that once school rolls around, I'll probably go on hiatus until Christmas, so I don't see the point in re-registering the domain and opening up a full-blown site again. Hopefully LJ will suffice to manage my designs.

Summer's boredom caught up with me, so I figured I'd try my hand at designing again. I have yet to post a portfolio, but all that will come in due time.

Obviously I'm going to be charging for my design work again. However, to start off I'll be taking some requests for FREE and posting some FREE PREMADES!
